Nicaraguan judge ratifies 8-year prison sentence for former director of Fundación Violeta Barrios de Chamorro

'You are criminalizing me for training journalists and justice is being used not to tell the truth. If I have been the conduit to receive these donations and train journalists, it is because I am an honest person. I have never taken any money from the FVBCH for my own benefit because I was educated with great values ​​and I have not had the need to do so either,' added Cristiana Chamorro Barrios, who has been under house arrest since June 2, 2021.
