“Article 19 rejects the indirect threats against the Honduran media outlet Reportar Sin Miedo and its journalistic team, after publishing the investigation 'Los nuevos ricos de San Pedro Sula, entre las redes de corrupción y la basura,' (The newly rich of San Pedro Sula, between the networks of corruption and garbage), as well as the intimidation and threats against the media that have also spread it.

The investigation, based on evidence from at least one file of more than 300 documents with more than 5,000 pages, has led to a series of direct and indirect threats against members of RSM. One of the members confirmed that last Wednesday, Jan. 31, they were warned 'that we delete the photos or we would have problems.'"
