“'They are going to kill me,' exclaimed journalist Humberto Padgett after accusing the Mexico City prosecutor's office of shelving the case of the [alleged] leaking of his personal data to drug dealers from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, for its acronym in Spanish).
Almost seven years after the attack of which he was a victim at the hand of drug dealers who operate in Ciudad Universitaria at UNAM when he was doing a report to showcase their 'modus operandi,' Humberto Padgett said that, without prior notification, the investigation into the alleged leaking of his personal data and that of his family by the Mexico City's prosecutor's office was closed."
