Anonymous reader threatens to dismember magazine journalists in Tijuana, Mexico

A magazine in the border city of Tijuana, Mexico, said that its journalists received death threats in the comment section of it's website, reported the Center of Journalism and Public Ethics (CEPET).

Marco Tulio Castro, director of the monthly magazine Diez4, filed a formal complaint with authorities of the state of Baja California due to the messages of an anonymous reader, "Tío Juan," who threatened to dismember the journalists, reported Diez4, which covers problems on the border such as immigration, drug trafficking, and corruption.

The newspaper said that it would not stop producing investigative reports, but as a security measure it told its journalists not to show up to work at the magazine headquarters, reported Agencia Reforma.
