Flor Ruiz

Flor Ruiz is a photojournalist and social communicator. She has a Bachelor’s in communication sciences from the University of Lima. She has also studied cinema and television, as well as photography. She leads workshops on travel and nature photography at the Center of the Image. Since 1997, she has worked as a photographer for newspapers El Peruano, Expreso, La República and El Comercio. For 17 years, she has been an independent photojournalist. She has started to collaborate with digital media outlet La Mula, publishing crónicas, articles and photos. Her work as a photojournalist has been published abroad in newspapers like Los Angeles Times, El Mundo of Spain, Folha de S. Paulo, among others. She was a photojournalist correspondent in Lima for the German Press Agency (DPA).

Flor Ruiz es fotoperiodista y comunicadora social. Es bachiller en ciencias de la comunicación, egresada de la Universidad de Lima. También ha estudiado cine y televisión, fotografía. Ella es docente de talleres de fotografía de viajes y naturaleza en el Centro de la Imagen. Desde 1997, ha trabajado como fotógrafa para los diarios El Peruano, Expreso, La República y El Comercio. Desde hace 17 años, es fotoperiodista independiente. Ha empezado a colaborar con el medio digital La Mula, publicando crónicas, textos y fotos. Su trabajo como fotoperiodista se ha publicado en el extranjero en diarios como Los Angeles Times, El Mundo de España, Folha de S. Paulo, entre otras. Fue fotoperiodista corresponsal en Lima de la Agencia Alemana de Prensa (DPA).
