Trying to find information about a journalism program at a university in Guatemala or a journalism professor in Brazil? A new online database from the World Journalism Education Council and the Knight Foundation will help you do just that.
The new World Journalism Education Census provides a directory, complete with names, phone numbers and websites, of journalism programs worldwide.
The information can be sorted by country.
Currently 2,338 journalism programs are listed in the directory. New entries to the census can be submitted here.
Nearly 30 percent of all journalism programs listed in the census are located in North America. About 9 percent are in South America.
