U.S. ambassador loses cool in interview with government-allied TV in Nicaragua

The U.S. ambassador to Nicaragua, Robert Callahan, abruptly ended an interview on Libya with Multinoticias Canal 4, declaring “I’m fed up with this, this is only provocation!” Terra reports.

According to El Nuevo Diario, Callahan told reporter Giovanni Loásiga that he wouldn’t take any more questions from a government official. “I take much pleasure in responding to questions from journalists, from real journalists,” he said.

Multinoticias Canal 4 is a TV station partially owned by President Daniel Ortega’s Sandanista political party.
