Abraji condemns murder of journalist in Ceará, Brazil

"Journalist Givanildo Oliveira, 46, was murdered on Monday night Feb. 7, hours after publishing a report on the arrest of a murder suspect. Oliveira was one of the founders of the site Pirambu News, which covered news about the neighborhood of Fortaleza. The first report indicates that he had been threatened not to publish information about criminals in the region."
