"The justice system of Neuquén, in the southwest of Argentina, has placed in custody the attacker who shot at press workers and wounded a woman during municipal workers protests who were demanding back pay.
The Argentine Association of Graphic Reporters (ARGRA, for its Spanish acronym) issued a statement contextualizing and condemning what happened. The statement said that 'one of the attackers pulled out a firearm and fired at the march, and then aimed and fired twice at our associate Federico Soto, a photojournalist from the newspaper La Mañana de Neuquén, who was covering the news.'
Although the shots did not hit the photojournalist, a woman who was participating in the march was wounded, the statement said."
