Argentine journalist is attacked and detained by police while covering demonstration

"The Argentine Journalism Forum expresses its repudiation and concern over the arrest of the journalist Franco Cervera of FM 102.5 Radio Estación, from San Francisco, Córdoba. This Monday, the 21st, he was detained while he was reporting in front of the Border Police Station, Santa Fé, where a group of neighbors asked for the release of a person.

Cervera was at the scene recording the events with his cell phone, when the police detained a person who was at the demonstration. Then the officers approached him and, according to a colleague, they began to verbally attack him. The police detained him, they struggled, and stripped him of his personal items. The whole episode lasted approximately 40 minutes."
