Brazil: Parliamentarians and journalists' associations criticize change of the Chamber of Deputies Press Committee

"The new room is far from the plenary and makes it difficult for reporters to access parliamentarians. It is not the first time that a president of the Chamber has tried to occupy the space of the Press Committee, where journalists work. (...) To leave the presidency of the Chamber and reach the plenary, the president needs to pass through a circulation area, the so-called Green Hall, where he can be approached by journalists. With the change of presidency to where the Press Committee is located, he will have direct access to the plenary, without passing by reporters."
