"On Thursday [Dec. 19], State Security agents arbitrarily detained the director of the magazine La Hora de Cuba, Henry Constantín. The Inter-American Press Association (IAPA) demanded the immediate release of Constantin, who is its regional vice president for Cuba and also requested the end of the persecution against independent journalists working on the island."
