Five journalists shot, one assaulted in Mexico in one week

Six journalists in three different Mexican states were attacked in less than a week. On Nov. 28, four reporters were shot and wounded in the state of Guerrero, and another was shot and wounded in the state of Michoacán. The latter remains in the hospital and police are guarding him.

Also on Nov. 28, Expansión, citing a live broadcast transmitted via Facebook, also reported that the mayor of Salto de Agua, Chiapas, assaulted journalist Erik Guzmán.
