Investigative Reporters and Editors expands its Spanish-language course offerings

The U.S.-based Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) announced the expansion of its Spanish-language custom training for journalists. Although it has offered sessions, workshops and training to Spanish-speaking journalists inside and outside the U.S. since 2020, the organization will expand these offerings in 2025.

Some of the workshops now available include: accessing public information, introduction to data journalism and data visualization, the art of the interview, and developing short-form investigations.

Those interested can fill out a form to let IRE know what kind of workshops they would be interested in taking in Spanish.
