"A judge's order from Peruvian businessman and politician César Acuña Peralta negotiates the seizure of the assets of investigative journalist Christopher Acosta Alfaro. The action requests that Acosta report assets in his possession, with which the payment of civil damages that Acuña demands for the alleged crime of aggravated defamation is guaranteed. The complaint is for 100 million soles (about US $25 million).
The judicial appeal also includes Jerónimo Pimentel, general director of Pengüin Random House, the publishing house that published 'Plata como Cancha,' the book that was the subject of the complaint, as well as the assets that the same publishing company owns in his name."
