"Journalist Katherine Ayarza of the news outlet Epicentro was attacked during an event on the Amnesty Law organized by the Democratic Tuesday program of the Congressional Citizen Participation Office on Aug. 26. At the end of the conference, some attendees surrounded the journalist and, amid shouts and insults belittling her work, threw her cell phone to the floor to prevent her from continuing to record. The attack was recorded."
