Journalist is attacked by radical group after protests outside Peruvian Congress

"Attacks on the press continue. This Monday, March 28, a journalist from Latina (channel 2) was attacked by an unknown person who was part of the protest against Pedro Castillo.

This individual, who was wearing a black T-shirt and a hat, had a yellow pennant in his hand and used the stick that held this pennant to hit the journalist on the head.

Despite the fact that some colleagues pointed out to the police who had attacked the journalist, the Peruvian police ignored them and let him go, even putting up a barrier so the press could not move up."
