"The Paraguayan Journalists' Union (SPP, for its acronym in Spanish) denounced this Tuesday [Sept. 23] that its country 'has not made great efforts' to protect the sector and reported 'more than 100 cases of attacks' against journalists since 2022, the year in which the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (I/A Court H.R.) condemned the Paraguayan State for the 1991 murder of reporter Santiago Leguizamón."
