Mexican journalist killed in Veracruz

“Julio Valdivia, 44, was killed Wednesday, according to El Mundo de Córdoba, the newspaper where he worked, and local authorities. His body was found decapitated with signs of violence in the municipality of Tezonapa, in the center of Veracruz, which borders the gulf of Mexico. This is the second murder of a press person in this area, one of the most impacted by the violence in the country, this year, according to the  State Commission for the Attention and Protection of Journalists (CEAPP).”
