Mexicans Against Corruption denounces intimidation from Mexican president

“The organization Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity (MCCI, for its acronym in Spanish) rejected the accusations of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador about its alleged links with political parties or intervention in electoral campaigns.

This Wednesday [May 19], López Obrador again accused MCCI of receiving foreign money to intervene in Mexican politics, in favor of opponents of the government.

MCCI has documented that the president has attacked the organization from his morning conference on 61 occasions."
