"Three alleged hitmen are in custody for the murder of journalist Jesús Gutiérrez Vergara and a policeman, according to Santos González Yescas, mayor of San Luis Río Colorado, a [Mexican] municipality on the border with the United States.

Gutiérrez Vergara is the sixth journalist to be murdered so far this year in Mexico. The organization Article 19 has said that at least two of them died due to violence related to their work."
