"Last Wednesday [Sept. 10] night, emergency numbers received a report of an armed attack on a journalist's home in Aldama [Chihuahua].
According to reports from the Aldama municipal authority, which was the first to respond, two individuals on a motorcycle arrived at the home and called the victim by name, but fortunately, he was unharmed.
The attack targeted Alán Pallares Orozco, between 45 and 49 years old, owner and director of a news website in Ciudad Aldama. Witness accounts indicate that when he left his home to answer the call, the attackers [on a motorcycle] shot at him at least twice."
