After three months of hospitalization at Ramos Mejía Hospital due to injuries caused by a tear gas canister, Grillo had been discharged to continue treatment at the Manuel Rocca rehabilitation center, but his condition worsened. Weeks ago, ballistics experts from the City Police conducted an examination to reconstruct how the shot that hit the photographer was fired. This examination was ordered by Judge María Servini, who is overseeing the case. As reported by LA NACION, experts fired shots with a weapon similar to the one used by the Gendarmerie, specifically by Officer Héctor Guerrero, who is identified as the one who fired the shot that hit Grillo. The gendarme will be questioned as a defendant on Sept. 2."
