Police colonel sends threatening letter to Ecuadoran journalist to reveal his sources

"The Colonel of the National Police, Rafael Marcelo Pérez Aguirre, sent a letter to the journalist of Código Vidrio, Arturo Torres, with threatening terms in which he asked to know the journalist's source and also disqualified his work, after the communicator launched a tweet on Twitter.

Torres wrote a thread on Twitter that reported that Colonel Rafael Pérez, 'known for being one of the gravediggers of the Special Investigations Unit (UIES), in the government of Rafael Correa,' is the new National Director of Intelligence of the National Police."
