"Russia has trained more than 1,000 content creators, journalists, and influencers to spread disinformation across eight Latin American countries—Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Venezuela—according to a report released this Tuesday [March 31] by the Digital News Association (DNA) in the United States.
These communicators, trained by the state-run media outlet RT en Español, join nearly 200 Spanish-speaking content creators whom Moscow maintains within Russia to disseminate information throughout Latin America, said investigative journalist Jeffrey Scott Shapiro, coordinator of DNA’s Russian Propaganda Alert."
