On Wednesday Sept. 9, 2020, protesters took to the streets of Bogota to protest the killing of Javier Ordoñez, a lawyer, the night prior in the middle of a National Police procedure. Ordoñez was hit repeatedly with an electric shock weapon known as a taser. During the demonstrations that took place in front of more than 50 Commands for Immediate Action (CAI) in the city, six journalists were attacked by members of the Police. FLIP reported one illegal detention, two obstructions and three physical aggression."
