Venezuela: Diosdado Cabello threatens to take over native digital media outlet La Patilla

"The first vice president of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello, warned that he will now go after La Patilla, after having taken over the facilities of the El Nacional newspaper in Los Cortijos. He repeated that he would use the facilities to create a university dedicated to communication.

During his program Con el mazo dando, Cabello was showing news of the award of El Nacional in his favor when a headline from La Patilla appeared.

He then took the opportunity to threaten this news outlet: 'In hiding, judicial auction, it says La Patilla rotten, which is also entangled. Now, we're going after La Patilla," he said.

Previously, the Chavista leader warned that he will find a way to affect the El Nacional website because, according to him, the newspaper's editor-in-chief, Miguel Henrique Otero, 'still' owes him."
