Camila Llorente, the online course associate at the Knight Center of Journalism in the Americas, is a Venezuelan storyteller with double majors in Journalism and Theatre and Dance, and a minor in U.S. Latino and Latin American media studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Her versatile skills in storytelling, performing arts and social media management drive her passion to amplify LatinX and Hispanic voices. With a deep belief in the power of storytelling and experience gained through internships at the Austin Chronicle and the Knight Center, Camila is dedicated to providing a unique perspective and advancing the Knight Center’s mission.
