Brazilian version of the Huffington Post to launch in November, editor-in-chief Arianna Huffington says

After launching versions in Canada and the United Kingdom, in November The Huffington Post will release a Brazilian edition of the site, announced the president and editor-in-chief of AOL Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington, according to the newspaper O Globo.

Huffington was in Brazil to participate in InfoTrends, a technology and Internet conference, in São Paulo on Sept. 2. "The Huffington Post chose Brazil for its economic growth and its potential in the future," Huffington said, according to EFE.

Huffington also said the content produced in Brazil will be translated into English and published on the other versions of the site, explained UOL.

In October, the Huffington Post which in February was purchased by AOL for $315 million, also will launch a French edition.
