"Denationalized Nicaraguan journalist Wilfredo Miranda, winner of the 2018 King of Spain Ibero-American Journalism Prize, denounced this Thursday [Mar. 16] that his country's authorities had ordered his three bank accounts be blocked in Nicaragua.
Miranda, a contributor to the Spanish newspaper El País, reporter for the Nicaraguan news portal Divergentes and who resides outside Nicaragua, is the second journalist to denounce the blocking of his bank accounts in his country.
The first was the also denationalized and expelled journalist Aníbal Toruño, director of Radio Darío, who had his three bank accounts blocked in the Central American country."
