The 16-year-old son of TV and radio host Eduardo Maldonado was released 27 days after he was kidnapped from his home in Tegucigalpa, EFE reports.

Luis Eduardo Maldonado was freed last Friday after his father agreed to pay a ransom. The amount paid is unknown, but the kidnappers originally asked for $1 million, La Tribuna says.
