The Organization of American States (OAS) has launched scientificjournalism.org, the Inter-American Scientific Journalism Portal, billed as a “virtual space for the diffusion of knowledge, science and technology.”

The portal is meant for Latin American and Caribbean media workers who cover science, technology, and innovation – topics that are do not always capture the attention of the traditional media, Notimex explains.

The site includes a virtual library, details about online courses, and science news that is targeted towards media workers, researchers, legislators, and the public at large.
