"Haitian journalist Roberson Alphonse, of the daily "Le Nouvelliste" and Radio Magik9, was wounded on Tues. Oct. 25 during an armed attack against him in Delmas 40B, a "red" zone in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince.
This was reported to the press by Frantz Duval, editor-in-chief of "Le Nouvelliste," a news outlet for which the journalist has worked for more than fifteen years.
Alphonse was wounded when he was on his way to present his morning show on Magik9 and his vehicle was riddled with a dozen bullets. He is currently receiving treatment in a hospital in the capital and his condition is stable."
