"A Mexicali municipal police officer, identified as Hugo 'N,' was arrested along with his brother for allegedly being involved in the attack on journalist Jorge Heras, who was beaten by a pair of individuals on Aug. 26 when he arrived at the home where he hosts the program Ciudad Capital.

The other detainees are the police officer's brother, his mother, and his son. A long gun, two handguns, tactical gear, and ammunition were found at the home.
The motive for the attack has not yet been identified, but the prosecutor's office is still investigating to determine the number of people involved, as the Attorney General says there are more."
