A man identifying himself as the brother of the former state prosecutor of Chihuahua, Patricia González, declared in a video that he and his sister are part of the criminal organization “La Línea,” also known as the Juárez cartel, Milenio reports.

According to El Diario de Juárez, a man who identifies himself as Mario González blames his sister for various crimes, including ordering the killing of journalists Armando Rodríguez in 2008 and Enrique Perea in 2006.

In the nearly 10-minute recording, the man appears undergoing an interrogation. He is handcuffed and surrounded by five masked men with high-caliber weapons, El Economista adds.

It had not been confirmed whether the person in the video is, in fact, Mario González, who was kidnapped last week.
