Brazilian soccer fans attacked news vans from TV Globo and Globosat on Dec. 4, near the Engenhão stadium in Rio de Janeiro, reported Uol.
Before a game against the Flamengo soccer club, fans of the Vasco team surrounded the vans and started to loot them, breaking the rear-view mirror and smashing the bumper, according to Globo Esporte. Drivers and reporters from the broadcasters were still in the vans during the attack.
Earlier, vehicles from Rádio Globo and the newspaper O Globo were targeted. Despite the attacks, no one was hurt. The news teams told local police that security should be strengthened around the stadium, reported Mídia Esporte.
