Members of community council in Venezuela violently interrupt live broadcast of TV program

On Thursday, March, 15, a live interview conducted by Globovisión was violently interrupted by members of the community council of Isla de la Culebra, in the state of Carabobo, according to the National Union of Journalists of Caracas.

The program “Radar of the Neighborhoods” was transmitting live a complaint regarding drinking water quality when the leader of a community group hit the microphone and interrupted the interview that was conducted by journalist Jesús Torrealba to ask to speak, reported the organization Public Space.

During the interview, the leader said that because of lies about pollution, 3,000 people were left without water service in the area.
