Two armed men trying to break into a Honduran TV channel's offices, destroyed one of the station's mobile units early in the morning of Wednesday, March 28, reported the organization C-Libre.
The target of the attack was TV channel Canal 36 Cholusat Sur, which was closed by the army during the coup d'etat, and since then, its journalists have reported many attacks, including sabotage of the channel's transmission antennas, as well as death threats and other incidents of aggression.
Also, journalist José Modesto Acosta, who rents time from TV channel Canal 50, SOL TV, complained that the station's owner, an ex-military official, interrupts the television signal every time the journalist tries to transmit his news program, according to C-Libre.
