Intercept Brazil editor receives death threats after reporting on fugitive

"Journalist Paulo Motoryn, editor and reporter for Intercept Brazil in Brasilia, has been receiving sustained threats of death and physical violence since last Thursday, January 13, when he published a report about a fugitive in Argentina.

In the report we show that Josiel Gomes de Macedo, sentenced to 16 years in prison for burning a car and buying military materials for the coup attempt, lives worry free and unpunished in Buenos Aires despite having an open arrest warrant in Brazil."
