"The Gabo Foundation, which in 2025 celebrates 30 years of supporting journalists and storytellers throughout Ibero-America to achieve a better-informed, participatory, and free society, presents the list of 50 nominees for the thirteenth edition of the Gabo Awards.
The result of a partnership of more than 14 years with SURA and Bancolombia, this award—the distinguished recognition of Spanish- and Portuguese-language journalism—seeks to promote standards of excellence, ethical coherence, and innovation, and to highlight work that, through a spirit of public service, contributes to the vitality of our democracies.
