“The journalist and photographer, Salomón Ordoñez Miranda, known as ”Shalom", was murdered in an alleged armed attack on Monday night [June 23] in the town of Cuetzalan, in the northern highlands of Puebla, Mexico.
The city council confirmed the murder in a statement and pledged inter-institutional collaboration for its clarification.
More than 12 hours after the event, neither the government of Puebla nor the governor Alejandro Armenta had issued any information or made any statement on the murder of Ordoñez Miranda."
