"Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa committed on Tuesday [March 26] to guaranteeing press freedom and freedom of expression in his country by signing the Chapultepec and Salta declarations after a meeting with an international delegation from the Inter American Press Association (IAPA). The meeting took place at the Carondelet Presidential Palace in the city of Quito.
A delegation from IAPA is currently in Ecuador this week to address the situation facing journalists and media this country. "
