"On Monday night [April 15], journalist and political leader Carlos Julio Rojas was detained by individuals who forcibly put him in a vehicle without license plates.
Several human rights defenders denounced the situation and his disappearance since no detention center confirmed that he was in custody.
Hours later the regime's attorney general, Tarek William Saab, confirmed via his account on X, that he had been imprisoned by Maduro's forces of order. Saab said that Rojas was detained for being an 'instigator and logistical operator' in an alleged assassination attempt against Nicolás Maduro on March 25."
