Journalist from Magdalena, Colombia, asks for protection after receiving death threat

“'We have all your information.' This is part of the message that Colombian journalist Idinael Fernández, who works at Radio Magdalena, received on his cell phone a few days ago. Fernández denounced that he had been threatened by alleged members of the [criminal group] Clan del Golfo.

[...] The journalist said that he had received a video call on his cell phone and that when he answered, he saw the face of a white man, who immediately hung up the call. However, a violent message from the same number arrived minutes later, in which a supposed commander of the Gaitanista Army of Colombia (as the Clan del Golfo calls itself) threatened to kill him.
