"A 26-year-old man was arrested this Friday [April 24] in the Buenos Aires district of San Nicolás [in Argentina], accused of aggravated coercion for death threats against journalist Luis Ventura. According to the case file, Ventura reported that he began receiving threatening messages via WhatsApp on April 20, 2025, around 9:00 p.m.
The messages, sent from various national and international numbers, contained death threats, anti-Semitic insults and references to weapons and murder directed at both the journalist and his family.
At the time, Ventura linked the threats to his appearance as a guest on a television program, where he had presented information of public interest that same day."
