Authorities notified Campos' family of his death on Saturday, March 9.

The original version of this story incorrectly identified Campos as a reporter for the El Diario newspaper. Campos worked in an administrative capacity for the periodical working with images.

Original: An employee of El Diario de Cuidad Juárez has been missing since Thursday, March 7, according to the newspaper located in the border city.

The newspaper and his family members said that Víctor Javier Campos, 30, was last seen at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, leaving his home on his way to work, where he never arrived.
