Katherine Izaguirre, a journalist for the Honduran station Globo TV, said several armed individuals kidnapped her for two hours, threatened her, and then stole her camera, El Tiempo reports.

Izaguirre had previously been the target of threats for her work with Globo TV, a media outlet that was against the 2009 coup that ousted Manuel Zelaya, Prensa Latina explains. A month ago, another journalist at the same TV station survived an armed attack.

According to El Tiempo, she was driven to various locations around the Honduran capital by her assailants. “In the end, they told me we will spare your life, but [my colleagues and I] have been warned,” she said.
